Nicole looked at Danny when he said that to her. "Oh?" she asked, smiling a little as she asked Danny that. "You know me to well Danny." she added, teasing him a bit as she said that. She leaned over and kissed him, then looked back to the movie. As she did, Nicole thought of her and Danny doing this with their future children.

"Not well enough... you picked a totally different movie." Danny said with a small smirk, slightly shaking his head in reply. Not that he was serious about that though. He didn't really mind watching this movie. He'd probably watch anything with Nicole, no matter what it was. Well, just maybe no historical movies. At least not just any historical movie. Had to be a good one that caught his attention.

Nicole smiled a bit when Danny said that to her, then leaned up and kissed him. "A sheila has to mix it up every now and then." she said to him before looking back to the movie. She still held onto Danny's hand as she said that to him, it was clear that she was getting into the movie she picked out for them. Nicole used her free hand to eat the popcorn that Danny had made for them.

Danny smirked a little in reply, while he watched the movie with Nicole. "Obviously." he said in a light tone, then took some popcorn for himself.
While he put the light, slightly sweet pieces into his mouth, he remembered how he would throw popcorn to the front in the movies when he was a kid. That memory made smile a little.

Nicole continued to watch the movie as she sat next to Danny. It was clear that she was enjoying this time together. As she sat there, her mind flashed back to the encounter she had with Danny's ex. She seemed like a difficult person to get along with. Its not your place to worry about her Nikky she said to herself while keeping her eyes on the screen.

Danny smiled a little to himself, watching the movie with Nicole. He couldn't help but think back to the events of the day, whenever there was a part of the movie that was familiar enough to Danny, so he didn't pay that much attention.
He wondered what happened to Anna that made her the person she was today. Making a scene in front of everyone and talking so badly about him in front of Nicole. She wasn't like that when he first met her and also not when they broke up. He knew that something happened to her in those almost two years that she was with criminal he arrested today. Doesn't concern me anymore... I'd be the last person she'd talk to.

Danny glanced at Nicole and sighed quietly. No... it really didn't concern him anymore. But still, he couldn't help but worry. Anna used to be an important part of his life. But he couldn't talk to Nicole about it, could he? She probably didn't want to hear about it and he didn't want to make it look like he cared more about Anna than he should. That part of his life was over. Or was it?

Nicole kept her attention on the movie. It was clear that she was loving this time they were having together. While sitting there, Nicole glanced up to Danny and noticed he seemed to be in thought. "Something on your mind mate?" she asked softly while sitting there with him.

Danny snapped out of his thoughts, pushing them out of his mind to focus his attention to the present again. He hated the fact that Nicole always seemed to know when he was somewhere else in his mind. Not that it was a big deal, but sometimes he just didn't want her to worry about it. Besides, most of the time it wasn't that important anyway.

"Eh..." he softly waved his hand, mentioning to her that it wasn't important. "Nothin' important enough to worry about now."

Nicole nodded in reply when Danny said that to her, then looked back to the movie, smiling a little as she watched. Nicole munched on more of the popcorn that was there, washing it down with the water she had. It was clear that Nicole was loving this time that her and Danny were spending together.

Danny could tell that she enjoyed the time they spent together. He did, too actually. Even though he couldn't take his mind off the events that occured today. But he tried, because if he was honest with himself, he didn't want to think about it anyway.
Watching Nicole for a little moment, he smiled a little to himself. While focusing his concentration of the movie again, he casually put his arm around her shoulders.

Nicole kept her eyes on the movie, not knowing that Danny was watching her. She was too engaged in the movie to notice anything else at the moment. While the move finished up, Nicole closed her eyes and had an image of her and Danny as parents come into her head. A smile came to her face as she had that image in her head.

Danny glanced at the watch on his wrist as the movie finished. It was getting late and he knew that he should head to bed soon, having an early start tomorrow, as always. Although he did feel a little tired now, he didn't really want this moment to end. Right now, he felt content, having Nicole close to him and not thinking about what happened today. He had finally managed to push that thought out of his head.
"That's surely a nice way to end a day." he said in a soft tone. "Too bad it's getting late, though."

Little did Danny know that the guy he arrested had someone on the outside kidnap Anna and use her as bait against the Agent so he would let him go. He would hear about it in a few hours from now.

Nicole nodded a bit in reply when Danny said that to her. "I better get back to my apartment and check on Merlin." she said, sitting up a bit at the same time. Nicole reached up and fixed her hair a bit, then got off the couch after the movie ended. "Thank you for this time Danny." she said to him. It was clear that she enjoyed the time they spent together.

Danny smiled a little, watching Nicole fix her hair and then get off the couch. He stretched his arms up a little and then got up as well. He turned off the TV with the remote at the same time, then put it back onto the table and looked at Nicole.
"Well, thank you for dropping by." he said with a small smile. "We should do that again some time."

If Danny didn't have to work the other day, he would have invited Nicole to stay the night, but he knew that wouldn't work really well this time.

"You're most welcome Danny" Nicole replied before kissing him. She then walked to the door after doing that. "That we should" she said to him while walking over to the door. As she did, Nicole thought about dressing up like Belle and surprising Danny sometime. That thought brought a smile to her face as she walked to the door. Danny might like that she said to her self while getting to the door.

Danny smiled a little, walking her to the door just a few feet away. He stopped next to it, waiting for Nicole to get her coat and shoes back on. Just like he always did when she visited him. He was a little sad to see her leave, but he knew how she felt about staying with him, so he wouldn't press that matter and wait until she was ready to. And besides, he had to get up at 7 and leave for work at 8:30, having to be at the office by 9 am. He wouldn't want to leave her all by herself at his place if she didn't have to leave as early as he had.

"Well... you know you're always welcome to drop by." Danny stated, looking at Nicole. "Just give me a heads up, in case I'm not home... or if you want me to drop by your place."

Nicole smiled when Danny said that to her. "I will do that Danny." she replied before kissing him. "Have a great day tomorrow......I might have a surprise for you then my charming bloke." she said to him before heading out to her car, her keys in hand at the same time. She knew that Merlin was waiting for her and would be a bit upset that she wasn't home sooner.

"Eh... it's just work. Nothing too great about it." Danny said, waving his hand once, indicating that he wasn't too excited about it. Just don't get the wrong picture, though. He really loved his job and the work he was doing, but sometimes it was a little boring, especially if his day consisted of paper work from previous cases that his boss was already nagging him about. But that had to be done, too.

"A surprise?" he arched his brows, looking at Nicole. "What did I do to deserve that?"

Nicole smiled, "For being a charming and caring bloke." she replied while watching him. "I'll see you around Danny" Nicole added before kissing him and heading out. She got to her car and headed home. Once there, she fed Merlin, then went to shower.

"Oh." he said, a slight grin on his face as he slowly shook his head, then watched her leave. For some reason though, as he turned around and closed the door after Nicole left, he had the feeling that something was going to happen not too far from today. He felt like he hadn't seen the last of Anna, although he was more than happy that the day ended as it did.

Not long after Nicole left for home, Danny went to bed, tired and exhausted from the long day. But at least he was somewhat content for now. But things would get personal for him within just a few days.

Nicole soon got home and tended to Merlin, then showered and went to bed. She fell asleep quickly, not knowing that Danny would have a run in with Anna again in the next few days.

The next day, Nicole was at the mall near her place, looking for a Belle dress to surprise Danny with.

The next morning Danny got up as usual, showered and got ready for work after a small breakfast. On his way to the office, it felt like it was just going to be another day at the job, but as soon as he walked into the pen office and saw the look on Andy's face, Danny knew that something was up. The way the rest of the small team around him looked at Danny just proved his feeling.

"What is it?" he asked his partner, without even bothering for a good morning, knowing that something had happened. But what he would hear next was something Danny wasn't prepared for.

Nicole soon found what she was looking for and went to try it on. Seeing that it fit, she changed, then went to pay for it. After doing so, she headed back to her place. Once there, she hung the dress up, then took Merlin for a walk before heading to the range that was near her apartment.

Andy had just gotten to the office about ten minutes ago. The phone rang on Danny's desk, but he wasn't there, so as per usual, Andy had taken the call. What he had heard on the phone then wasn't what he liked to hear. And it showed on his face. After the caller hung up, Andy had informed their boss of what had happened and two other agents were called in, too.

When Danny arrived at the office, the look on Andy face hadn't changed. He didn't know what he was supposed to do now. It was a matter of life and death and it concerned Danny personally. They've dealt with things like this before, but it had never been this personal.
"He had Anna kidnapped, Danny." Andy told him, studying Danny's reaction to that. He didn't need to say who had her kidnapped, it was obvious that it had been her boyfriend, whom they arrested the day before.

Nicole was at the range at this time, unaware of what was going on with Anna and her boyfriend's friend. She put a clip into the gun that she had with her, then chambered a round and drew down on the target. Soon, the sound of her Glock could be heard with the others that were being fired as well.

Across town in a dark basement, Anna's kidnapper stood back and watched her come to after tying her to a chair. "Nice nap Anna?" he asked while watching her.
