Personality: Strong-willed and determined are words that are used often to describe Catherine. She's not only dedicated on the job, but she's dedicated her spare time to her only daughter, 12 year old Lea Marie Johanson. She was formerly married to John Raymond Tiland, but the pair divorced after Catherine found out she was pregnant with Lea. She doesn't regret leaving John as he was never extremely supportive of her. After the divorce, Catherine was a little more closed-off from the rest of the world, but she has since regained her more open personality.

History: Catherine moved to Las Vegas right after her divorce with John Tiland and was then transferred to the Las Vegas team of FBI Agents in the Organized Crime Division. Soon after, she gave birth to her daughter, Lea. In total, she has worked with the FBI for about 15 years. Her partner in Daniel Cooper.

Ever since moving to Vegas and having her daughter, Catherine hasn't thought about moving from Vegas and she's told Lea about what happened with her dad. She has raised Lea on her own since the move to Vegas.



She formerly worked in the FBI's Organized Crime Division in Atlantic City, New Jersey. She had met John on the boardwalk in Atlantic City and that is when the two had started their relationship. Catherine had told him what she did back then and she knows that John used her job as one of the reasons that he was leaving her. She denies that reason and she feels she has proof that the reason was no good because she has had success with raising Lea while still keeping her job in the FBI.
