Personality: Confident and charming, Karl is good at getting things done his way. He is a good leader who doesn't tolerate bratty and selfish people. He is strond and tough, but once you get to know him, he's fun and outgoing, though not a romantic in the slightest.

History: 27 year-old Karl was born and raised in Aachen, Germany. He's the middle child of three: he has an older brother and a younger sister. He grew up as a social and friendly child and had a happy childhood. The three children grew up with classical music and literature, and as a teen Karl adored the Sherlock Holmes adventures; it was this which made him want to become a detective.

After high-school he moved to Chicago, where he attended university. It was here that he decided he wanted to become a forensic scientist as opposed to just a detective. After graduation, Karl went on to work with Chicago PD as a CSI. He has now been transfered to Las Vegas.
