Alex searched for the movie before he found it and he put it in before grabbing the remote. He set the remote on the table in front of Maddie, "Popcorn and a drink?"he offered. "It's on me, you're at the movie theatre where they don't charge you 5 bucks for a freaking large soda and rip you off,"he said, laughing a little.

Alex smiled and headed to make popcorn, still laughing at himself. "What type of soda you want? I've got Coke, Pepsi Max, and Fanta,"he asked, poking his head back out of the kitchen to shoot a questioning glance at her.

Alex nodded and slipped back in the kitchen, grabbing a Pepsi for her and a Pepsi for him and bringing those out before he went back and grabbed the popcorn as well.

Alex returned momentarily, already munching on a mouthful of popcorn. He set the bowl down in front of him and Maddie as he took his seat. "Now this is the second best way to watch a movie, the best is to watch it at a drive-in theatre,"he said.
